Mrs. Ferguson's Speech Page

Welcome to my page. :)

A little about myself: I received my Master's in Education in Speech-Language Pathology from Valdosta State University in December 2013. Prior to graduating, I completed internships in a hospital as well as a public school. My public school experience helped me realize how much I loved and wanted to work with children. I worked for Richmond County School System for 2 years where I completed by Clinical Fellowship Experience and became licensed to practice as an SLP with my Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I began working for Columbia County Schools in August 2016, where I was placed at two great schools, North Columbia Elementary and Lewiston Elementary. I am so thankful and pleased to be serving those same schools for the 2018-2019 school year! Speech therapy truly is so rewarding. Although I help teach students communication skills, I  feel that they teach me something new as well. :)
