Principal's Message

Welcome to North Columbia Elementary School – Home of the Dragons!
It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to North Columbia Elementary School! Our school has a long and cherished history, beginning in 1956 in our original building. This year marks a new chapter as we opened the doors to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in August. While we honor the traditions of the past, we also embrace the opportunities that this beautiful new school provides for our students, staff, and community.
We are especially excited to welcome additional students and teachers who joined our Dragon family this school year. Together, we are building a strong, supportive, and vibrant learning community where every child is valued, challenged, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
At North Columbia Elementary, we are committed to creating an environment where curiosity is nurtured, achievement is celebrated, and character is built. Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to provide engaging, meaningful learning experiences that prepare students not only for academic success, but also for lifelong growth as responsible citizens and leaders.
We are honored to partner with our families and community as we continue the proud Dragon tradition. Thank you for being part of our journey—past, present, and future.
Welcome to our new home, and welcome to another incredible school year at North Columbia Elementary!
Sincerely,
Tonya Gambrell
